He was predeceased by: his parents, Cauley Rogers and Ruth Ferguson Rogers; his wife Regina Ferguson Rogers; his son Charles Rogers; and his siblings, Edith Ferguson, Pauline Clement, Mary Davis, Bly Cathey, Kenneth and Paul Rogers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Margaret Rogers (David) of Waynesville and Martha Winfrey (Eric) of Mechanicsville, VA; his daughter-in-law Billie Rogers of Boone, NC; his grandchildren, Brian Rogers (Paula), Sarah Worden (Ryan), Maggie Rogers, Rachael Winfrey, Erica Winfrey and Lauren Leaton (Charles); and his great grandchildren, Amelia Worden and Autumn Leaton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 11571 Betsy's Gap Road, Clyde, NC 28721.
