He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Ferguson Shirley; his parents, Beuford T. Shirley Sr. and Mildred T. Shirley; and his brother Rayburn C. Shirley. He is survived by: his children, Susan Daw (Rob), Alison Alexander (Kurt) and Bradford Shirley (Amanda); his grandchildren, Cassidy, Sam Daw, Zach, Morgan, Charlie, Taylor Alexander, Madison, Mason Shirley and Mason Barnes; and his siblings, Sylvia Bell (Chester), Molly Tant, John Shirley (Pam) and Paul Shirley (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
