It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bette J. Phipps (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 7, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Fred L. Phipps; and her brothers, Don Campbell (Blanche) and Howard Campbell (Barbara). She is survived by: her sister Arleen Smith; and her daughters, Treasure Schafer, Laure Williams (Max), Leslee Shockley, Colleen Phipps and Mary Holcombe.
