It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Joan (Scates) Cullen (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 6, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Scates and Maude Singleton Scates; and her husband James Michael "Mickey" Cullen. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Trull (Benny); and her grandchildren, Chris Hawkins, Levi Cullen (Rebecca), Samuel Cullen, Bethany Cullen, Luke Cullen (Paula) and Nathan Trull (April). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
