She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Benson and Thelma Benson; her husband Boyd Dee Childers; and her brothers, Bobby Joe Benson and Donnie Lee Benson.
She is survived by: her sons, David Childers (Gail) and Jeff Childers; her grandchildren, David Jr. (Courtney), Lindsay, Christen (Johnny), Jessica and Noah; and her sister Linda Towe. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
