He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tillery and Iva Lee Green Ball; his wife Flora Mae Ball; his brothers, Parlin Ball, Junior and Donald Ball; his son-in-law Robert Brown; and his grandson Ryan Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Yvonne Brown and Ricky Ball (Lesa); his grandchildren, Heather Terwillegar (Matt), Jason Ball (Tasha), Shanna Ball and Angie Crisp; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Ian, Cason and Emma.
