She was predeceased by: her parent John Melton; her husband Lee Armstrong; and her children, Dolly, Tommy and Annette Armstrong.
She is survived by: her parent Arlesa Hooper Melton; and her daughters, JoLane Davis of Florida and Kathey Franklin (Mike) of Waynesville. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; twenty-two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
