It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Mozingo Davis of Wayne County, North Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Franklin Mozingo and Mattie Grice Mozingo; her husband Glenn Howard Davis; and her siblings, Gernie Mozingo and Jessie Mae Mozingo Pattillo.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Faye Davis; her children, Frank Davis (Faye) and Jennifer Davis Lancaster (Eric); her grandchildren, Brandon Davis (Kali), Morgan Bomar (Shawn), Christina Lancaster, Corrie Lancaster and Madison Lancaster; her great grandchildren, Peyton Gambrell, Graham Davis, Aubrey Davis, Adalynn Bomar and Emory Bomar; and her sister-in-law Shirley Davis Newsome.
