She is survived by: her sons, Delton Atkinson (Sherry) of Charlotte, Thomas Atkinson (Lovie) of Buena Vista and Darryl Atkinson of Capitol Heights, Maryland; her grandchildren, Judy Best (James) of Woodbridge, Terryl Atkinson of Durham and Terrence Atkinson of Goldsboro; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Edwards and David Frazier of Goldsboro. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.
