It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Sue Carter of Waxhaw, North Carolina, born in Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Benton and Beulah Benton. She is survived by: her husband Larry Carter; her children, Monica Sue and Michael Shane Carter; her granddaughter Christen Elizabeth Carter; her great grandchild Harley Scott Hayes; and her siblings, Carolyn Hicks, Pamela Pressley, Roy Benton, Jr., Dennis Benton, Douglas Benton and Ray Benton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
