He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley James Pickard and Adaline Anne Keville; his significant other MaryLou Pickard; and his granddaughter Stephanie Gwen Harris. He is survived by: his children, Sue Jarrell (Aaron) of Dexter, Richard Pickard (Ronda) of Monroe, Laurie Ingram (Kevin) of Guntown, Colleen Holley (Tom) of Belden and Shawn James Pickard (Roxy Villone) of Fredricksburg, Virginia; and his sister Nancy Bishopp (Jim). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
