She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Ralph Wingard, Sr. and Mae Earnhardt Wingard; her husband William H. Sensenbrenner; her brothers, Ralph and Earl Wingard; her children, Anna Sensenbrenner Quackenbush (Glenn), Dr. John Sensenbrenner (Kim) and Alice Sensenbrenner Howie; her grandchildren, Will Howie, Matt Moore, Hank Howie, Adam Sensenbrenner, Kate Howie McAteer, Eric Sensenbrenner and David Quackenbush; and her great grandchildren, Julia, Raleigh, Francie Howie, Heath McAteer, Hugh Howie and Ruby Sensenbrenner. She was also cherished by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many other children.
The family sincerely thanks the staff of White Oak in Waxhaw, NC and Hospice of Union County for the care they gave Ruth the past 18 months and especially during the pandemic. The burial will be private at Waxhaw Cemetery.
