In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Richard Anthony leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Richard Anthony may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Salzillo and Mildred Amoroso Salzillo. He is survived by: his wife Linda Prestipino Salzillo; his daughter Christine Mathewson-Rajca; his son-in-law Chip; his sisters-in-law, Dolores Zirk, Lorraine McAvoy (Kevin), Bunny Gritser (Joseph) and Fran Faraci (Glen); and his sister Geralyn Salzillo Warburton (Jimmy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, as well as many cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
