She was predeceased by: her parents, William Claud Helms and Eula Phifer Helms. She is survived by: her husband Homer Gordon of Waxhaw; her sons, Scott Gordon of Charlotte and Danny Gordon (Tammy) of Waxhaw; and her brother Ronnie Helms of Mint Hill. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
