She is survived by: her parent Margaret Simpson; her children, Tyler Hefner of Monroe, NC, Andrew Walsh of Monroe, NC and Miranda Hefner of Monroe, NC; her siblings, Carmen "Sassy" Helms (Randy), James Carmin Hefner III and Phillip Aaron Hefner; her granddaughters, Annalise Taylor and Bella Lee; and her significant other Buddy Henley.
