With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynnie Mae Godfrey (Waxhaw, North Carolina), who passed away on August 7, 2019 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wriston J. C. Stewart and Mary Elizabeth Kizer Stewart; her husband Martin J. Godfrey; and her son James Ray Godfrey. She is survived by: her daughter Christine G. Edwards (Max) of Wingate; and her grandchildren, Max Edwards Jr., Marty Edwards (Cheryl), Gina Edwards Ryals (Stan) and Susan Edwards Whittington (Hugh). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
