She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Angela Collins Nelson and John William Nelson. She is survived by: her siblings, Ann Nelson Lease (Larry), Molly Nelson Bradburn (Jack) and Stephen Nelson (Sue); her nieces and nephews, Shannon Melson, Meredith Eberhard, Megan Costello, Angela Bradburn, Brent Nelson, Jeffrey Nelson, Shawn Lease and Andrew Bradburn; and her friend Lois Bull.
