He was predeceased by: his parents, James Connie Manus and Ola Knight Manus; his sister Connie Mae Manus Couick; and his spouse Delaine Manus. He is survived by: his children, Bryon Manus (Robin) of Matthews and Michelle Miller of Charlotte; his brothers, Dennis Manus and Walter Manus; his grandchildren, Jordan Manus, Hunter Manus, Ari Miller and Jennifer Pennigar; and his nieces and nephews, Donna Manus, Janet Couick, Tina Piepgrass, Tiffany Gribbins, Kevin Couick and Greg Couick.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to Mary Elizabeth Baptist Church.
