It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Rushing of Waxhaw, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harrison and Mary Bright Helms Hammonds; and her husband JC Rushing, Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Betty Smith (Gary); her children, Steve Rushing (Roxane), Lorri Elms and Janna Wilson (James); and her grandchildren, Matthew Rushing (Lisa), Tandi Gerow (Charley), Jason Elms (Amber), Meagan Nesbit, Jeremy Wilson (Crystal) and Brittany Kristin Stanford (Dustin). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
