It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Manus of Waxhaw, North Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Connie" Manus and Ola Knight Manus; and his sister Couick. He is survived by: his daughter Donna Manus Lockhart (late Larry Lockhart) of Monroe; his brother Dennis Manus; and his grandchildren, Mieka Lockhart of Monroe and Larry Lockhart of Hemby Bridge. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, 4 nieces and 3 nephews.
