It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jackson Burdett Boomhower of Waxhaw, North Carolina, born in Franklin, Vermont, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Boomhower and Marguerite Boomhower; his siblings, Gordon Boomhower (Sonny), Richard Boomhower, Rita St. Pierre, Pat Niles, Mable Greene and Gloria Kane; his son Kim Boomhower; and his son-in-law Dennis Prescott.
He is survived by: his wife Shelley Boomhower; his brother George Boomhower (Lin); his children, Jackson A. Boomhower (Emily), Andrew Boomhower (Robyn), Kathy Irish (Mike Forrest), Deb Latham (Rick), Cindy Prescott, Carrie Boyer and Debbie Conger; and his daughter-in-law Laurie Boomhower. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
