It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Faires (Waxhaw, North Carolina), born in Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Clyde (LC) and Eunice Lathan (Mama); her children, Dayle Shipp and Robert Lathan Shipp; her siblings, Leonard Clyde Lathan (LC), Wilma Cloe Phillips and Carol L McManus; her nephew Rodney McManus; and her niece Donna Phillips.

She is survived by: her grandson Robert Lathan Shipp II (Jennifer); her great grandchild Sarah Alexandria Shipp; and her sister Joyce Woodhouse.
