He was predeceased by: his brother David Lamar Joyner. He is survived by: his siblings, John Barry Joyner (Debbie), Melba Ann Joyner, Merwyn R. Joyner (Susan) and Laura Robyn Gordon (Doug); his daughter Melanie Roxanne Joyner; his granddaughters, Nina Carissa Joyner and Maddie Joyner; and his wife Judy Barnhill.
