She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carlisle and Julia Chandler Hutto; and her siblings, Richard, Ronnie Hutto, Sandra Matincheck and Gail Benfield.
She is survived by: her husband Edward "Tick" Godfrey; her children, Ed Godfrey, Deborah "Debbie" Boulton (John) and Paula Stehley (Mark); and her siblings, Jimmy Hutto (Valarie) and Linda Finley (Doug). She is also survived by five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
