She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Flores and Wilhelmina Rodriquez Flores; her husband Felix Ramon Brenes; and her sons, Ramon Louis Brenes and Ricardo Benjamin Brenes.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos Brenes (Brenda) of Waxhaw and Mary Ann Binnie (William); and her sisters, Ruthy, Margaret and Helen. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
