It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Coffield Cartwright (Watha, North Carolina), born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on June 6, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son William Dean Cartwright; and her stepfather Lee Stafford. She is survived by: her children, Dawson Cartwright, Jr. (Janet) and Jackie C. Barnhill (Roy); and her grandchildren, Allison Autry and Daniel Cartwright (Nina).
