She was predeceased by: her parent George Abrams; her husband Samuel Wood; and her daughter Parlie Ann Wood Allen. She is survived by: her parent Anna Coston Abrams; her daughters, Sandra Wood and Theresa Wood; and her sister Addie Norris of Garland. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
