He is survived by: his wife Carrie Mills Cavanaugh; his sons, Danny Cavanaugh (Valerie), David Cavanaugh and Darrell Cavanaugh (Kristie); his sisters, Ruth Mabee, Ann Thomas and Barbara Chaucer (Russell); his grandchildren, Courtney (Steven), Hannah, Nicholas "Nick" and Zoe; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Bailey.
