She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Dale and Annie Ruth Murray Dale; her husband Charles Fuller Garriss; her son Charlie Milton Garriss; her granddaughter Tamela Bond Williams; her great grandchild Marissa Dixon; and her brothers, Floyd Dale and Elmer Dale.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Garriss, Annette Dixon, Peggy Hunt (John) and Brenda Bond; her daughter-in-law Barbara Garriss; and her sisters, Lucille Odom, Naomi Tatum, Margie Wheeler and Joanne Moore. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren.
