He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Daniel English and Faye Brewer English; his sister Jeanette English; his nephews, William English and Thad English; his siblings, Patricia Evans of Watha, Bobby English of Ivanhoe, Doris Brown of Rose Hill, Jerry English of Harrells, Mary Sue English of Burgaw, Tony English of Harrells and Donna English of Rocky Point; and his friend David. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews; many extended family.
