She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Warren and Lena Wells Garris; her husband Donald Rozelle Padgett; and her brother Warren Garris. She is survived by: her children, Roslyn Padgett (Pablo Frez) of Durham and Jeff Padgett (Sharon) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Preston Frez, Bradley Padgett, Jamie Padgett (Gaby) and Ainsley Padgett; her great grandchildren, Elle Padgett and Emma Padgett; her siblings, Frances Beasley of Warsaw, Gail Sholar of Wallace and Douglas Garris of Watha; and her friend Alma.
