He was predeceased by: his wife Opal Taylor Boyd; his children, Danny Boyd and Shari Boyd; and his grandson Matthew Boyd. He is survived by: his son Timothy Marshal Boyd (Laurie) of Hampstead, NC; his granddaughters, Jennifer Boyd of Sanford, NC and Melanie Housley (Marcus) of Washington, NC.; his great grandchildren, Cayden Cushing, Riley Flynn, Marquis Housley and Eli Housley; and his brothers, Jesse Boyd of Greenville, NC and Clarence Boyd Jr. of Charleston, SC.
Because of the pandemic, a private family service will be held as a celebration of his life.
