We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2019, at the age of 79, William Chauncey (Washington, North Carolina), born in Grifton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Gibbons Chauncey and Mary Frances McDaniel Chauncey; and his grandmother Schoonover. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Alline B. Chauncey; his daughters, Maureen Dintino (Tom) of Lansing, NC and Anna Margaret Jazayeri (Ray) of Wilmington; his stepchildren, Kelly Michelle Aaron (Josh) of Oradell, NJ and Geoffrey Todd Riddick (Mary Beth) of Clayton, NC; his siblings, Gibb Chauncey (Becky) of Winterville and Linda Chauncey Baldree (Ike) of Bath; and his grandchildren, Andy Carazo (Viri), Patrick Dintino, Kamran Jazayeri, Zoe Gold-Aaron, Sophia Aaron, Max Aaron, Sawyer Riddick and Kesler Riddick.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979 or to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), 102 Enterprise Dr., Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
