It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Augustus Parvin Jr. of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on September 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Augustus Parvin Sr. and Lela Paul Parvin; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Hoyt Parvin; and his brother Robert "Bob" Webster Parvin. He is survived by: his sons, William "Gus" Augustus Parvin III (Nicole) and Edmund "Ed" Hoyt Parvin (Kate); his grandchildren, Danya, Walker, Stetson, Maverick Parvin and Julia Parvin; and his sisters, Mary Pierce and Lela "Weensie" Currier.
