He was predeceased by: his sisters, Peggy Woolard, Ginger Paramore, Gladys Crisp and Ruth Morris. He is survived by: his grandsons, Tony Vick, Donnie Jensen, Jason Whichard, Brandon Whichard, Trent Brooks and Doug Jefferson; his wife Geneva Harrell; his children, Jimmie Warren Whichard (Suzanne) of Chocowinity, Deborah "Debbie" Boyd (Steve) of Chocowinity and Tobey Harrell Whichard of Swansboro; his brothers, William H. "Billy" Whichard, Jr. of Chocowinity and Bobby Dean Whichard (Cee) of Chocowinity; and his grandchildren, Steven Whichard, Tracy Chavez, Kristen Brooks, Denise Vick, Greg Boyd and Stephanie Boyd.
