He was predeceased by: his wife Carla Faye Davis Bruce; his son Perry Bruce; his grandson Tahj Bruce; his great grandchild Tripp Latiolais; and his sister Betty Harvey. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
