She is survived by: her daughters, Tameka Gibson (Ti'Quan McIver) of Washington and Tiffany Gibson of Washington; her siblings, Joseph Avant, Billy Avant and Joann Kraszewski of Washington; and her niece Tonya Avant-Latham of Washington. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
