It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian C. Thompson of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Ivey Gray Thompson; her children, Sandra Thompson Moore (Glen Moore), Neil Gray Thompson and Karen Ann Thompson Holt (Brian Holt); her grandchildren, Stephanie Moore Duncan (Andrew Duncan), Shellie Ann Moore Cahoon (Tyler Cahoon), Sarah Ann Holt Swenson (Mikeal Swenson) and Seth Gray Holt; her great grandchildren, Anderson Hardee Duncan, Grayson Russell Duncan, Kaleigh Ann Cahoon and Kaden Autrey Cahoon; her parents, Joe Cordon (J. C.) and Lotha Ann Tingle Cordon; and her siblings, Nancy Cordon Wallace, Clare Cordon Hodges, Christine Cordon Heath, Muriel Cordon (Willie Muriel), Ernest Cordon and Emma Cordon Hudson.
