She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Alan Weston and Belva Ruth Weston. She is survived by: her husband Edmund "Buck" Tayloe Buckman, III; her children, Etta Elizabeth Buckman (Robert E. Long, III) and Edmund Tayloe Buckman, IV (Mary Virginia Buckman); her grandchildren, Robert "Bobby" Edgar Long, IV of Georgetta, Charles "Tayloe" Long and Virginia "Catherine" Buckman; her siblings, Larry "Al" Alan Weston, Jr. (Carol Weston), Leslie "Butch" Dwayne Weston (Laurie Weston), Valerie Weston Whitehead (Doug Whitehead), Sherrie Weston Odom (Mike Odom) and Renee Weston Regeis (Chris Regeis); and her sister-in-law Josephine Winters Vause (Bobby Vause). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (304 W 2nd St, Washington, NC 27889). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Washington Yacht & Country Club (7155 River Rd, Washington, NC 27889).
