He is survived by: his wife Jan Ross Cordon; his daughter Casey Cordon; his son-in-law Oliver Trueman; his grandchild Theo of Chapel Hill, NC; his son Ryan Cordon; his daughter-in-law Wei Cordon; his grandchildren, Tanis, Hanna and JaLynn of Greenville, NC; and his brothers, Larry Cordon (Terry), Thad Cordon (Linda), Ronny Cordon (Karen) and Jimmy Cordon (Mendy). He is also survived by the many nieces and nephews.
