With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stuart McGuire Thomson Jr. of Washington, North Carolina, born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart M. Thomson, Sr. and Sarah McLean Thomson; and his wife Betty Jean Klapp. He is survived by: his sister Sarah Wyche of Lake Waccamaw; his stepdaughters, Tiffany Bey (David) of Kernersville and Melissa Rivenbark of Washington; and his stepgrandchildren, Owen Bey, Colin Rivenbark, Ryan Rivenbark and Spencer Rivenbark.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 211 West 2nd Street, Washington, NC 27889.
