She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Dixon and Agnes Beacham Dixon; and her husband James William Singleton, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Jones (Randy) of Washington, James "Jim" Singleton, Jr. (Jennie) of Washington, Gay Caraway (Robert) of Greenville and Mark Singleton (Tina) of Washington; her brothers, William Dixon (Wanda) of Washington and Henry Dixon of Greenville; her grandchildren, Shanna Steinert (Nick), Katelyn Gaskins (Josh), Dylan Singleton, Laura Grooms, Robyn Hamilton, Jessica Jones (Jake), Mark Singleton, Jr., Taylor Singleton and Jonathan Singleton; and her great grandchildren, Sawyer Steinert, Liam Steinert, Stella Gaskins, Waylon Hamilton, Sloan Hamilton, Hayden Jones and Layla Jones.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home & Crematory (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
