He is survived by: his wife Brenda Mayo; his children, Kami Cox Newman (Kevin) of Washington, Amy Cox Alligood (Steven) of Washington, William "Bill" Brennan Cox of Washington, Reagan Cox Askew of Washington and Matthew Steele Cox (Sarah) of Washington; his grandchildren, Brianna Ashleigh Swain, Holden Eli Newman, Austin Luke Newman, Lauren Alexandra Alligood, Mason Steele Newman, Logan Wade Alligood, Dawson Rowland Askew, Hayden Matthew Cox and Adeline Grace Cox; and his siblings, Sandi Evans of Washington, Shelia Jones of Washington, Jim Cox of Washington and Kerry Cox of Washington.
