It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sophie M. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Allen Mills and Eula Dean Hudson Mills; her brothers, Robert, Lloyd and Edmund; her husband Earl Herbin Mitchell; her daughter Emily; and her son-in-law Ken Steiner.
She is survived by: her children, Lilly Dudley (Stuart) of Washington and Earl Herbin Mitchell Jr. (Patricia) of Pensacola, Fla.; her grandchildren, Shannon Boulware, Allison Mordecai, Stuart Dudley Jr., Lee Steiner, Kemily Wilson, Lana Holmes, Celeste Reeves and Chelsey Edgerly; and her caregivers, Shunica, Angie, Sherry and Cassie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and a huge extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Community Home Care & Hospice.
