He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobson Basnight Langley, Sr. and Louise Cozzens Langley; his wife Alice Faye Williams; and his siblings, Iris Langley Boyd and Robert Thomas "Tommy" Langley.
He is survived by: his sister Phyllis Burroughs of Washington; his nieces, Carol West (Ron) of Washington and Debra Carpenter of Raeford; his nephew Wayne Boyd (Sherri) of Washington; and his friend Margaret Jewell of Blounts Creek.
