She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jack" Dunning; her parents, Julia Ray Britt and Paul Albert Britt; her daughter Beverly Dunning Linton; her granddaughters, Bethany Linton and Marsha Mayo; and her sisters, Jessie Whitehurst and Pauline Cherry.
She is survived by: her caregiver Lisa Mayo (Cleveland); her grandchildren, D. C. Linton (Amy), Daniel Linton (Michelle), Arron Gaskins (Jessica Stone), Ryan Mayo, Brooke Gaskins, Meagan Tetterton, Katherine Mayo and Lauren Mayo (LaLa); and her siblings, Ethel Cale, Ann Holloman, Sarah Diaz and Raymond Britt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
