She is survived by: her daughter Victoria Leigh Craven of Oxford, England; her close friend Annette E. Murdock of Washington, NC; her brother Alton Maxie Gavin of Trenton, NC; and her grandchildren, Aries, A. J. and Alexis. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
