She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Sylvester Tetterton and Lucy Elizabeth Watson Tetterton; her grandsons, Lloyd R. Slade, Jr. and Matthew Thomas Slade; and her siblings, Julius Tetterton, J. T. Tetterton, Lloyd Nicholson Tetterton, Mary Gurganus and Mamie Ange Nobles.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil Ray Slade; her children, Lloyd Ray Slade (Merrily) of Washington, Linda C. Slade of Washington and David Lee Slade of Spanish Fort, AL; her grandchildren, Benjamin Slade, Orry Slade, Kimberly Woolard, Mindy Kindaid, Cora Slade Colton Slade and Lola Slade; and her great grandchildren, Kristina Slade, Autumn Slade, Kelsey Slade, Steven Woolard and Carson Kincaid.
