She was predeceased by: her parents, William Robert Apple, Sr. and Leona Mae Norman Apple; her husband James Elwood Jones, Sr.; and her brothers, Robert "Buddy" Apple and Larry Gene Apple.
She is survived by: her son James E. Jones, Jr. (Jane Lee Hohn) of Greenville. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fifteenth Street Church of God (336 E 15th St, Washington, NC 27889). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
