She was predeceased by: her parents, Elva Slaughter and Norman Slaughter; her husband Raymond Hodges; and her sister Joyce Daniels. She is survived by: her children, Dalton (Katrina), Arthur of Newport, NC and Sandra Buck of Washington; and her sister Mildred Edwards of Chocowinity. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
